Essay on School and Teachers (495 words)
My school days were full of fun and a memorable one too. This journey would not have been possible without the able support and trust of the teachers, and Principal and non teaching staff.
I am very thankful to my school and teachers for laying down a strong foundation for the school based on principles of academic achievements with a sense of responsibility and determination. Throughout our journey from preschool to higher secondary, students were taught to overcome their obstacles and reach great heights of excellence; they instilled wisdom in us, worked on child psychology and providing students with the opportunity to grow as a person.

A big thank to our principal Madam whose support was always with us, she was quite approachable whenever there were issues regarding studies or any activities, and she ensured that the students and their parents did not face any issues during the years.
The teachers always strived to bring out the best in each child and to give us a bright future. My school provided the students with a brilliant environment, high quality teaching, healthy atmosphere and conducive environment. Our school MANAGEMENT worked with the pure vision, “BY THE PARENT, FOR THE PARENT and TO THE PARENT” through combined EFFORTS lead by the Principal and the entire team of the School.
The school has always been open to valuable feedback & suggestions from the parents. I appreciate the way the school encouraged healthy discussions which benefited the students and parents. This helped in betterment of school as well as in the growth & development of students.
The school and teachers took great initiatives, improved parent teacher relationships by conducting parent’s sports day and fun fair. My father was also a PTA representative for one year which provided him a wonderful opportunity of joining hands with the school teachers and working for the betterment of the kids and school. PTA is a bridge between parents, teachers and school management. His PTA meetings were full of discussions, arguments, suggestions, and corrections were carried out and finally combined decisions were made. He got an opportunity to work in coordination with the Management, Principal, teachers and support and strengthen the institution in numerous ways.
It had indeed been a tremendous voyage of learning. I am highly appreciative of all the teachers who have worked hard for our betterment in every way possible way and for guiding us through those formative years. For me personally, it had been a wonderful experience where we learnt, fought, argued but stayed together at all times like a family.
Teachers are considered to be the second parents of students. The task of a good teacher isn’t only to teach children or
give them some knowledge, but also to care about them like parents do.While parents may be accountants, scientists, doctors, and engineers — but nothing contributes to the nations development more than the sacrifices made by teachers. Once again, a ‘Big thank you’ to my school and all my teachers.
Influence of Teachers on Students (Word Count 199)
In any culture a teacher is given utmost importance. A child idolises his teachers more than anyone else in his life. We are inspired and motivated by our teachers. A teacher not only educates but also acts as a guide for the students leading them to a path of discipline, principles, wisdom and everlasting virtues. A teacher imbibes not only good qualities which we will carry on with ourselves but help us to be good human beings.
Students work hard and are always interested in most subjects as teachers keep students inspiring to learn more and get motivated to study, share and help each other I think a teachers job is the toughest on the face of the earth. As they are the base of our future path. I feel teachers are the nation builders.
Teachers are role models that is why we say “Guru Devo Bhawa”. Which means a teacher is next to god. So let’s all respect our teachers and fulfill the dreams that we have for our future lives, which we can accomplish with the help of our teachers. Thank you teachers for giving me the best future life I can ever dream of, thank you.
The Teacher Pupil Relationship
What do good teacher-student relationships look like and why do these relationships matter?
An acorn is a tiny thing, and yet in it there lies an oak with spreading boughs and mighty girth.
Every student is like an acorn, for from out its unformed mind its individual tendencies will grow. Generous or selfish, weak or strong, cruel or kind: the man or woman there in embryo. We all want to feel cared for and valued by the significant people in our world. Students are no different. In the classroom environment the interpersonal relationship between teacher and students is an important element contributing to the learning process of students. Teachers who foster positive relationships with their students create classroom environments more conducive to learning and meet students’ developmental, emotional and academic needs.
Having a good interpersonal relationship with teachers has important, positive and long lasting implications for students’ academic and social development. Students who have close, positive and supportive relationships with their teachers will attain higher levels of achievement than those students with more conflictual relationships. If a student feels a personal connection to a teacher, experiences frequent communication with a teacher, and receives more guidance and praise than criticism from the teacher, then the student is likely to become more trustful of that teacher, show more engagement in the academic content presented, display better classroom behaviour, and achieve higher levels academically. Positive teacher-student relationships draw students into the process of learning and promote their desire to learn.
Teachers have the unique opportunity and privilege to communicate daily to a number of students that they believe in them. What a gift to be able to be that significant adult in even one student’s life. So it makes sense that developing positive teacher-student relations is one of the most effective steps one can take to establish a positive discipline climate in the classroom. It’s critical to remember that when you treat students with respect, they tend to appreciate and like you. When they appreciate and like you, they are more willing to want to please you—which causes them to be more likely to behave appropriately.
The measure of teacher’s affection is reflected in his or her concern for students’ “appearance” that their personalities be balanced and well proportioned, that they feel at peace with themselves and their environment, that they utilize their talents and fulfil their potential. Teaching and moulding these young students in a world that is teetering on its axis, steering them towards the right path and fostering core values in each young child, encouraging them to face the many challenges, and engendering in these impressionable minds a true DHARMIC spirit is the main focus. This will in turn facilitate them to carry their learning experiences beyond college boundaries and contribute their mite and Might towards a National Conscience.
