Until a few years back, there were only a handful of good international schools in Mumbai. However, due to changing aspirations, the scenario has changed.

The school started with just 12 students in the American consulate back in 1981 and today has grown into a “village” of people over 50 countries with one educator for every 6 students. American School of Bombay has 2 campuses, one in Kurla west for Elementary School (ECEC3 to Grade 5) and the Secondary School campus is located in Bandra Kurla complex (Grades 6-12).     The Singapore International School is a boarding and day school based in Dahisar, Mumbai. It offers IB Diploma and IGCSE curriculum.     Established in 2004, Ecole Mondiale World School is one of the five IB World schools in Mumbai and 18 in India. Based in Juhu, the school offers IGCSE through Cambridge International Examinations which is the international division of the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate. It is also an accredited IB school. The school stresses on learning by doing and even places in students in reputed universities in India and abroad.
